Framing Statement:
When it comes to revision, I don’t have a very specific approach. When I am writing the first draft of any of my paper, I typically end up changing my mind on something halfway through the paper. I continue to write my initial thoughts, but in my second draft when I’m revising, I write my newer thoughts and insert parts from the first draft into the revised copy. Then, I look at my peer’s comments on the paper and touch up the parts that weren’t working well. I have used these strategies on my sociology midterm paper and it worked out well. I plan to use the revision strategies on other essays that I have to write in the future.
