Looking at my significant writing project, I used MLA guidelines to site sources but not so much when it comes to local revisions. I have been using MLA formatting since I was in middle school, so it was not difficult to remember the components that are needed for setting up the paper. However, I did use some help setting up the sources in the works cited from The Little Seagull book. I sometimes would forget to include my last name and the page number in the right hand corner, but that was only with some of the first drafts. I don’t usually make a lot of grammatical errors, mostly because I am very aware of them in any case and I’m very bothered when I see one. Nobody is perfect though, so once in a while I do catch myself capitalizing something that doesn’t need to be or placing a comma in the wrong place. These are the local revisions that I take care of when using MLA guidelines.
